I am a Licensed Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor in South Carolina and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I specialize in working with individuals stuck repeating damaging patterns and cycles that may be rooted in early life experiences including those within their family of origin and other past relationships.
I originally worked in an intensive outpatient treatment facility and I spent the last 6 years in private practice helping individuals break out of deep seated cycles to reconnect to themselves and walk with self-compassion. During these years I've engaged in many advanced trainings and have continued to hone my skills with the goal of being able to truly help meet my clients where they are and support them in some of the following ways:
- Acceptance.
- Finding your footing and moving forward together through collaboration.
- Discovering your inner passions and letting them guide you.
- Embracing the ride. Growth is not a straight trajectory. Growth is full of curves and loops that help us develop into our best selves.
- Be real. Be humble. It’s okay to not know everything.
- Inventing what works best for you. I will help you invent what works best for you and find systems that support your goals.
I am an authentic, direct, person with lots of empathy. I believe that no one should have to go through the process of healing alone. My goal in my practice is to provide excellent therapy that helps you to experience deep lasting change with tools you can continue to benefit from long after our time together has concluded. I believe every person has unique needs and goals and you deserve to have someone who is fully invested in helping you and meeting you where you are.
